ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

No class the way they trooped past Carlo who was clapping them in the guard of honour. Van Dyke staring ahead like most of the other bad mannered crew. At least Robertson shook his hand. Klopp can't take being beaten and hasn't got the maturity and manners to get over himself.
it runs right through the whole club. no class fans claiming they wouldve won `if we had hit the deck for a freekick everytime Madrid came in for a tackle` no class, no shame. Madrids `var goal` will be conveniently forgotten too. LFC lost with major decisions going their way- they are not as good as some would have us believe

I actually feel sorry for Kopites
They remind me of Covid Deniers.
They aren't even aware they are caught up in a cult.
The Club, it's supporters, social media gurus and general media all help perpetuate it, and when they win, all their misdemeanours are brushed away, as they all still want to be part of the BOSS trip.
When it goes wrong, it is the system out yo get them and the Victim narrative takes over.
Borrowed Fame, Forgotten Shame.

They think they are bigger than Real Madrid, seriously.

Name a club who has won ONE league title in over thirty years who think of themselves like that. If Real go one season without a title it is a crisis.

Michael Owen "I know Madrid won and erm Man City won the title, but I still think Liverpool are the team to beat"

I was on the floor for 10 minutes with that one lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

the media are dodgy as hell...whether it's politics or something as 'harmless' as bloody football, they've got their agenda and will use it to force a narrative.

That removed comment was funny banter, but it revealed a truth that the media (for god-knows-what reasons) don't want revealed...the inconvenient truth being that most football fans can't stand Liverpool FC, nor their fans.

I'd be interested in more investigation as to why the media are so RS-obsessed. They give their ex-players all sorts of punditry positions, even to the point where we've often had an ex-red punditing on an Everton game (non-derby!).

Their fans are often a disgrace, this thread has enough examples of that. So why the constant media love-in?

Fears of a witch-hunt, my arse lol it's the opposite. There's some quite advanced psychological propaganda around Liverpool FC...cult of Shankly?
I once read that the higher ups of the Masonic Lodge were Liverpool fans.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theory's, but that would certainly explain some of the deference.

Assuming of course they're still big players in this country. I could just as easily be barking up the wrong tree
