ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Just not as good as they think they are. Haven’t been for a while but have been getting away with it. Chelsea outclassed them in both finals and should have won at least one (definitely the carabao). There should never have been a title race, the PL just manipulated one that wasn’t ever there. This loss had been coming all season but they just kept dodging it and getting away with draws they didn’t deserve home and away to City, home and away to Chelsea, home and away to Spurs. Even Inter had them on the ropes for large parts of their tie if Sanchez hadn’t got himself sent off. This had been coming for ages and for once it arrived in the one game they didn’t want it to.

For all it's claims to be anti-censorship, Grauniad has possibly the most fascist below the line moderation across UK national media.

There's a line to be towed and you either stay on message or it is immediately deleted.

Or they just don't open comments on articles they don't want questioned.

The Daily Mail, while being an awful institution at least lets comments run with every side allowed to be argued.

It really does get away with a lot without being questioned in any way.

For years now the guardian tip any menton of Heysel down the memory hole.

I know somebody in editorial there and there is a clear "don't say anything bad about Liverpool" line, as Liverpool fans click loads.

This is true this, City play great football and blow people away, while they got crappy one goal victories with the help of the officials.
Next season if Chelsea can sort themselves, and Spurs spend right it could be different

I once read that the higher ups of the Masonic Lodge were Liverpool fans.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theory's, but that would certainly explain some of the deference.

Assuming of course they're still big players in this country. I could just as easily be barking up the wrong tree

I am repeating myself, but read David Kennedy's history of the Split - his original PhD dissertation or the subsequent book.

Houlding and his cronies were Masonic and Orange. The Everton Board that left them behind did have a small number of masons but nowhere near as many as the RS
