ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Interesting. I've just done exactly that, and that top comment has been removed. Also all the upvotes have been reduced into the 300's so it doesn't look like everyone was happy to see Liverpool lose.

Absolute whitewash
the media are dodgy as hell...whether it's politics or something as 'harmless' as bloody football, they've got their agenda and will use it to force a narrative.

That removed comment was funny banter, but it revealed a truth that the media (for god-knows-what reasons) don't want revealed...the inconvenient truth being that most football fans can't stand Liverpool FC, nor their fans.

I'd be interested in more investigation as to why the media are so RS-obsessed. They give their ex-players all sorts of punditry positions, even to the point where we've often had an ex-red punditing on an Everton game (non-derby!).

Their fans are often a disgrace, this thread has enough examples of that. So why the constant media love-in?

Fears of a witch-hunt, my arse lol it's the opposite. There's some quite advanced psychological propaganda around Liverpool FC...cult of Shankly?

He saw something no one else did.
One of the joys of reading a newspaper 24 hrs later is to see how things actually panned out in reality. I've just done that with the Telegraph sports pull out from yesterday.
TAA is a defensive vulnerability. Look at the stats and you see opponents funnel attacks in his direction. The defining match up could be TAA v Vinicius . Brilliant writing from the correspondant who can now expect bullets in the post?
