ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They've gone all in on their own and their sycophantic media's 'Immortals' season claim and they cant make it stand up. It's pathetic.

They won 2 lower level trophies for any elite organisation and they cant handle it.
They've had so much smoke blown up their arse this season by pundits and the media, they know they have failed to live upto the expectation.

They're almost trying to say 'we deserve much more than we got' well you never you were lucky you got the 2 cups, they were closer to winning nothing than the quadruple.

Sniff it

"the longest quadruple hunt by an English club, with Liverpool’s bid only ending on May 22"

This is great.

Liverpool's "historic" season isn't down to the two domestic cups anymore (that just wont fly, even they know that), it's down to 'landmarks' achieved.

  • the longest quadruple hunt by an English club, with Liverpool’s bid only ending on May 22 lol
  • the biggest ever lead over Everton with 53 points. The Reds ended the campaign with 92 points, and the Toffees 39 lol
  • Salah became the first player to score on the opening day of the PL for five seasons in a row lol
  • Mane surpassed Didier Drogba to become the highest-scoring African in the knockout stages of CL with 15 goals lol
  • Van Dijk has never been on a losing side of a league game at Anfield for 64 games, the most for a single club of any player in PL history lol
  • finding the net in 34 successive games in all competitions was set, beating the previous high of 31 from April 1957 to January 1958 lol
  • The Reds scored at least twice for 18 matches in a row in across all competitions from September to December lol
  • The first English club to win ALL six CL group games. They become the eighth team to achieve the feat in total lol
  • recorded the outright longest unbeaten run under Klopp and the longest overall since Roy Evans was at the helm back in March 1996 lol

....."This team is something else, continually setting new benchmarks with the hunger for more" lollollollollollol
This is unreal.

It reminded me of the scholes v gerrard debate. Scholes won x amount of titles

“Yeah but stevie got nominated x amount of times for a fifa best 11”

Mark Lawrenson in actual self-awareness shocker. A small amount, but it is there. I've literally never heard anybody from that club talk about it like that.

Edit: Ah, he's back to being the victim after 5 minutes

Commendable stuff, but I'd put me house on he was there somewhere partying with them all on Sundays anniversary.

These kopite outbursts always sound like Dustin Hoffman's character in Rain man trying in vain to unravel the abbot and Costello who's on first gag.

Conveniently leaving out not scoring a goal in 3 cup finals.

That whole list of "achievements" is sad and funny in equal measure. When I see that the second greatest thing they managed was to finish above Everton, I'm reminded of the phrase "living rent free inside your head".

But then, why would the owners pay rent?

He's all over the shop.

He's just laughed at a comment on page 4155 but also commenting here.

Must have one of those time turner things from Harry Potter.
The bottom of each page has new posts on it. It's like knowing the rs lost the two main trophies and then having to hear about the quad being on. It's highly amusing.
