ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I see my local MP is still acting as rs minister for self-defence - be nice if he could devote himself with such vigour to wider politics and issues in his constituency.
It's the only thing these right wing Labour Ms have to offer. They bent the knee to Starmer long ago and offer zero opposition to the Tories.

I'd implore every Everton supporting Labour voter to vote Green instead.

An LFC official was quoted as saying,

"We will not stop until we get a full apology from Uefa and the French authorities. Then we will demand an apology from Real Madrid for beating us."

I’m done with this fella as my mp, and probably labour now - it’s no wonder disgraces like Johnson can stay on in power and get away with murder when the direct opposition is characterised by this biased clown.

I’ve Just realised, there was an international match held in the war zone/lawless area that is the stadt de France and Saint Denis on Friday between France and Denmark that passed off without any problems or incidents With 75833 fans in attendance.

What was the difference in circumstances that ensured nothing like the cl final happened last week - what changed?

@EverTheOptimist you've had a week now to get all the tears out of the way. Time to pick that jaw up off the floor fella and get back to it. Don't do what you did under your previous username and go missing for about 2 months after Madrid slapped you 3-1 in the previous final and tried to blag everyone that you'd been busy for that period of time.
if this is directed at me. i am still crying... with laughter. the queue to sus me out is getting longer and
you`re all so very very wrong. in fact you couldnt be more wrongerer. cant an Evertonian be a little bit off the wall, cringe when `murderers` is sung against those loveable reds over the park or have a point thats a bit off the beaten track? you know who you are, whats wrong with you people? lose the village idiot mentality.

The Iron Lady. She was quite an admirer....and they admired her....

Remarks visiting Liverpool Football Club. A red scarf saves day for Blue leader

A red scarf saved the day for Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, the Conservative leader, when she made Liverpool F.C's Anfield headquarters her first port of call during a hectic 24-hour visit to Merseyside.

Mrs. Thatcher was wearing a powder blue and white costume when she met team captain Emlyn Hughes, wearing blue slacks, in the trophy room.

Emlyn suggested the leader of the Blues was wearing the wrong colours.

Quick as a flash, Mrs. Thatcher whipped out a bright red neckerchief and put it round her neck. “I've come prepared,” she joked.

There was another slight problem when Mrs. Thatcher admired the U.E.F.A. and Football League championship cups.

Emlyn warned: “Don't try to lift that. I couldn't and the boss couldn't, and we both dropped it.”

When Mrs. Thatcher lifted the large trophy, the base fell off.

After being presented with a gold necklace, with a Liverbird on it, by the chairman of the club, Mr. John Smith, Mrs. Thatcher went to see the famous Kop.

She heard that it was fifty years old and that the reconstruction work on the stands was to cost £420,000.

When manager Bob Paisley invited the Tory leader to visit them and watch a match, Mrs. Thatcher said she would love to.

Message wishing Liverpool FC good luck (European Cup Final)

"I have always admired the way in which Liverpool play their football and I am delighted that they have reached the final for the second consecutive year"

Is your name @EverTheOptimist ???

Nope.

Pipe down please.

I hope they get Bowen to replace Mane.

I rate Bowen highly but he's not the same quality as Mane was in his peak.

Mane seems to be going off the boil so it probably favours RS to get rid now and replace him.

Assuming Salah doesn't renew his contract this is Liverpools final year of dominance under Klopp imo - a front 3 of Diaz, Jota and Bowen whilst pacey and dangerous isn't going to win you league titles or champions leagues imo.

Lets hope Mane leaves for a reduced price this summer and Salah leaves on a free end of this coming season.
