ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Injured Salah rejects Liverpool scan request

"Mohamed Salah rejected Liverpool's request to have a pre-match scan on an undisclosed injury before the forward played 90 minutes for his country on Sunday.

The 29-year-old captained the side to a 1-0 victory over Guinea in Cairo as Egypt began their qualifying campaign for next year's Africa Cup of Nations.
"Salah was hit by an injury but played through it," said manager Ehab Galal.

He added Salah's X-ray would take place after the game".

The beginning of the end.

knives are out for Mo,

May in interject here Sir , as a scouser I was taught and always considered wools to be people living in areas near to but outside Liverpool .
eg. St Helens , Prescot , Southport , Warrington , Widnes , North Wales .
Anyone born south of Watford is considered to be a southern Jessie :p
This is my understanding of the situation as well.

Good to The Guardian letting things go and moving on more than a week after the event View attachment 169110

They're furious they cant control the narrative, that's why 9 days later they're still all over this.

The Establishment know that those of us with experience of their chosen team (ALL fans, not just Evertonians and United supporters) aren't budging on who was to blame in turning up 150k strong for a stadium they had 19k tickets for; and they know that we know that Liverpool fans KNEW that there was a shedload of fake tickets doing the rounds well before the Saturday of the game.

The stick they as enablers for them are getting on social media has them raging. They cant handle it, and deeper in to the abyss they sink with every new 'report' and opinion piece.

The bottom line is this: the Establishment Club media spent 6 months talking up this lot as 'Immortals' and how they were going to win a quadruple...then their club failed to deliver...and ended up the season associated with stadium violence not on-field glory. AGAIN. There's not a thing they can do about that, because football is understood now through the lens of social media. They are powerless to alter the perception on Liverpool and their fans.

Good to see the daily heil still supporting those innocent loveable reds, saying more bother at the stadt de France at the nations league game on Friday so how can it be liberpewls fault?! Not seen this reported anywhere else however?

Not seeing anyone climbing the fences, getting mugged or pepper sprayed on the vid on the article though - strange that isn’t it?

I have said all along, there were issues with the policing and handling on the night, that absolutely needs addressing, but I would like to see the same accountability on the rs side of the 12 foot fence

Went back to work after a week off today, one rs who went over was honest enough to say that he saw a few reds breaking in and climbing the fences but it was because they were frustrated at being held in queues for ages, and there were loads of French Algerian/Somalians lads doing it so some of the rs just copied them them….I was speechless tbh.

Also he was honest enough to say there were way too many rs trying to get in - no question there were fake tickets about.

Amazing innit?

They thought they were taking the mantle as the best team of all time. Better than United’s treble team, better than this City team, no other team would ever be able to match it, and they had all already banked it, they just thought it would all fall their way, that Stevie would deliver it for them and then they’d not only expunge the demons of 2018 but also beat the ex Everton manager in the CL final to boot.

They were utterly convinced it was going to happen. Then when it didn’t a lifetime of bragging was taken away from them.
