Mane is going to be a huge loss. He does so much more besides scoring. The telling interceptions and challenges he makes high up the pitch has opponents constantly on their heels.

He's going to be a £200M loss and I cant believe that FSG are allowing his departure and not offering him a massive deal to keep him there.

I disagree mate. The trophy haul just isn't there for them. Last 20 years 8 trophies...only 3 being the big ones of the PL or CL.

They are an elite club because the media tells us they are. They simply haven't been at the races in terms of success compared to United, City and Chelsea in the last 2 decades.

The only difference is that our owners put back everything into the club. FSG, Glazers, and the Yanks that own Spurs can all outspend us. Instead they pay huge dividends out to their owners. Fans of those clubs swallow the complete nonsense that they can't compete, hook line and sinker. Instead of blaming our owners for ruining football. You should look to the club you support and the greedy love children who own them.

Who do I support?

Nobody believes City are squeaky with non inflated deals pretty much all linked to their owners or state, previous fines for breaching FFP, image right payments which don't show on the balance sheet, consultancy roles, homes bought for ex managers, refusal to supply documents at court cases. Your not fooling anyone so let it be.

Liverpool fan aren't you? If not I apologise. Everyone knows do they? The most scrutinised set of accounts in the history of sport and they found nothing. All driven by our rivals, as is the Prem investigation, 4 years in and nothing. The der spiegal nonsense was just that. Separate emails from years apart were spliced together to make us look guilty. What evidence did UEFA have? A photocopy of the spliced email. They didn't even have the original. No wonder we refused to cooperate with them and went straight to CAS.
Cry and bleat all you want. FFP was designed to keep those at the top there and stop anyone else from joining the party. I couldn't give a toss if we broke every rule in the ffp book, but we don't. We are self sustaining. I don't care that you don't believe me. I am just enjoying another title and another Liverpool failure.

Of course you don't care, you won the lottery and couldn't care less where the money is coming from.

I get that but don't pretend you're all legit because everyone knows different, the only reason that there is not more made of it for example is because you're stopping the lovable neighbours from winning more.

Whoever posted the first one clearly misses the point.

Liverpool could never have hoped to sign Scholes or Lampard back then. They would have been laughed at. Ferguson could have signed pretty much any player he wanted and Gerrard nearly left for Chelsea.
