The middle fingering every post thing is true. But the PM thing is a v disappointing fabrication which I assume came in the heat of the meltdown. The opposite was true, he'd PM me trying to find out why I was middle fingering him, the tone veering between annoyed and trying to pretend he didn't care, but I just middle fingered his PMs and said nothing. I did miss him though, that much was true

He’s been sold the dream by Klopp when the reality is he will get a few games for them, be bigged up as the next “world class ……“ and then flogged at a profit to some mug newly promoted team

Who actually even came out with that quote? If you're going to quote someone, at least attribute it to them.

More importantly, how weird do you have to be to have as a signature a quote about another club that isn't even your cross-city rival? That is borderline obsessive but it's absolutely glorious. That guy just oozes pain and bitterness. You've got to be hurting so much to do something like that. Imagine being told how great you are all year and how you are going to do something incredible and then have it taken away in just over 5 minutes. I bet his heart split in two when Gundogan tapped home. It was not how things were meant to be. They had their birthright and their destiny stolen. The mental effect of having the whole illusion shattered in the space of less than a week must be devastating for them.

Hes been bought to play a few league Cup matches then sold to their usual clients for 3 times what they paid for him. They are trying to do what chelsea did but on a smaller scale.
