Stinksoh hello fellow blue, what are your thoughts on blagging into games by nefarious means?
All players have their peak, especially forwards in their early 30s. It just takes a couple of % slowing down in reaction times at this level and they're gone.
He'll be as good as ever next season (if he doesn't pick up an injury) but thereafter they'll have to replace him. IMO they needed to bite the bullet and rebuild this summer because next season is not hapening for them as serious challengers to City.
Another thought: if FSG have scrapped their own wage structure for this and he then gets injured and doesn't really come back after it, that is a heavy price to pay. This reperesnts a gamble by Liverpool. IMO they swerved a tough descision and haven't been bold enough.
Good decision to keep Salah. Good luck the next time VVD, Henderson, Arnold etc all go in for their next contracts though.
Not likely. He needs to have an extraordinarily season and any clubs in for him need to at least match the wages he’s now on. Can’t seeing a queue formingReckon they will sell Salah next year and still get a high fee..
