ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

While out walking the dog, I had a chat with my uncle, the RS ST holder - a realistic and level-headed one. He said the sentiment towards FSG is worsening.

Apparently, there are growing rumours of an internal power struggle in the coaching system, which has been produced by senior roles behind the club going.

The whole, 'Are they for sale?' discussion is fuelling it, too. They're sat mid-table and will probably find form before the season is out, so the reaction is amusing.

However, it just goes to show their expectations compared to many others, including our own. Long may this decline and malaise continue!

They nearly won the quad and now they want the manager gone.. strange strange
Most of them don't, as the blame is almost solely placed at the feet of the owners. Instead, for many, Klopp gets an almost unlimited amount of leeway.

They have been dreadful for the past few games, but few will question the attitude of the manager, the tactics they're employing and the elephant in the room...

... the players do not appear to be overly enthusiastic at the moment. Has he lost the dressing room? Impossible, it's FSG. Are the tactics right? No, it's FSG.

Yes, they have clearly let their midfield diminish and their defence is shown to not be what they believed it to do, but that's his job to fix the problems.

They've bought Nunez and Gakpo, whereas Klopp could have insisted on a midfielder. It's now for him to remedy the situation with what he's got available.

While it pains me to say it, getting rid of Klopp would be very foolhardy, so I hope they actually do, yet equally their cult like view of him is beyond the pale.

They appear unable to see that what he's doing now isn't working and will not criticise him; if they don't do that, why would he change?

Made me giggle

"The RS season ticket holder"

I still think they’ll go on a run and get Europe.

Missing out on CL has to be bad news for them though, not just financially but attracting players.
Financially, you could be talking a minimum of £50-70m, so for owners who are reportedly looking to make a sizeable profit through a sale it could be huge.

If sources are to be believed, they’re already being relatively frugal, so a drop in income could impact more than their fans would accept.
