ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Agree it was nauseating. Tyler, spitty and Neville all equally vomit inducing as eachother. It’s just funny how Liverpool always have to be awarded something without them winning anything. When they came runners up twice to city it was they got 90 odd points best ever runners up blah blah, now it’s they were in the best game this season by coming back to draw with arsenal, even though we beat the same team when we practically bottom of the league an no one gave a toss.

Remember how they branded the whole ‘challengers v champions’ game when they covered Liverpool v City in 18/19. I don’t remember seeing that for Arsenal at any point this season.

RefWatch on Sky will set the tone for how this plays out. If Gallagher goes after Robertson, he might actually be in trouble.
If he doesn't mention it, the linesman will want to update his CV
Will be interesting. As a former ref, you’d like to think he’d back a colleague, although the powers that be at sky will be in his ear to defend Robertson.

Of course.

I hope they do investigate it because, if they do, Robertson grabbing the referee must be investigated. This could lead to ban for him.

It's in their best interest to let this all be swept under the rug, but reading the guff they regularly post they'll think he's innocent and the ref should be hanged.

I hope match officials stand by the linesman now and target Robertson in future games
Clattenburg has already come to the defence of the referee, with him talking about being confronted, being touched and self-defence.

The Telegraph have said as much too, with their headline: Andy Robertson incident is unprecedented - the official could have acted out of fear.

Carragher straight out tweeting that Van Dijk is better than Vidic and has been the best player in the PL with De Bruyne for years. This is all they’re about, controlling propaganda, making sure they get the lines they want to put in the media on a continuous basis.

Van Dijk is the best in the world

Anfield is different to other stadiums

‘Trent’ ‘Bobby’ ‘Mo’

Allison is the best keeper in the world

Any chance anyone from Liverpool gets to push these sort of lines out they’re all over it. Hardly any of them will just say ‘ yeah it’s been a poor season, no excuses’
