ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Celebrate Arsenal winning the league….
Next season… forge a rivalry which the broadcasters will hype up… against Arsenal.

Can’t have any side getting the same glory and attention they want.
Bitter bunch of left wing militants.
Remember the mid 80s? They played a full team against us in May 1985 when we had put out half a reserve team,6 days before they played a European Cup final against Juventus because they didn't want us,the champions, getting the last laugh that season by beating them 3 times. We still beat them 1-0.

lol lol lol

FFS, how wide of the mark can you get.

The self entitlement never fails to amaze me from them. This mindset that 1. they should be in for Bellingham & 2. he'd definitely join them over other sides if they had the money...

As if the only stumbling block is FSG stumping up the cash. Not that other more elite sides like City or Madrid would gazump them with the offer of more money AND more silverware.

If they miss out on CL football they’ll have to sell to afford wages for a big signing anyway. They stretched themselves for Salah’s new contract but any Bellingham like signing would want parity with him. What happens then with the wages of Allison Van Dijk etc?

There’ll also need to be replacements for Firmino Keita Oxlade Chamberlain and Milner who will all leave for nothing and will cost a considerable amount to replace. There’ll be a saving on wages but that’s still 4 transfer fees to find with no trading revenue coming in.

I’m not even sure who they could sell though? Konate might be the only player a top side would want that their fans would stomach leaving. Salah and Van Dijk are too old, Diaz and Nunez havent been there that long and wouldn’t attract higher than what they paid for them. The only one would be Allison but I think FSG would be run out of town if they sold him to try and find a squad rebuild.

Can't wait for the pictures of all the losers who got shirts printed and had tattoos done. I'm sure there'll be some rs whopper with mbappe and Bellingham inked somewhere on his body.
No top player at the peak of their powers go to Liverpool. Dalglish in the late 70s is about the only one I can think of.
