Lots of towns and cities have reasons to be anti establishment, Liverpool isn't anything special in that regard.

No what makes Liverpool special is that it doesn't have that quality of uncomplaining stoicism. Otherwise known as the British "stiff upper lip". A quirk that manifests rat behavior of i.e Smile at your face then stab you in the back verbally when not looking.
Seen that play out particularly in the south of england. The amount of bottled up fume that the rest of England has is off the charts. Sometimes displaying itself when England play abroad.

Indeed. However this should now be put to bed. The RS have done nothing over many years but bring shame upon Liverpool and I just wish they would stop. The real question of course is if Saturdays match had been at Goodison would we have stayed classy and behaved or do a RS…only our individual posters know…….
