ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Looks like Amorim is their new manager.

That's potentially an annoyingly good appointment.
He is indeed a good manager. I still just think though that there will be a clear shift in ethos & mentality with Klopp gone that will be difficult for them to get to grips with at first. He's got massive shoes to fill and it remains to be seen whether he'll truly be up for it.

The hope is that they have the same issue as Utd after Ferguson, Arsenal after Wenger... I dunno if i'd want to take that job immediately after Klopp, if I were Amorim. But I guess anyone who's operating at that level has the confidence/arrogance to back themselves to succeed whatever the situation.

EDIT: apart from Bielsa, apparently.

Amorim: 1 Portuguese title.

That's not much of a CV tbf.

He might turn out to be a genius choice, but that doesn't have me worried atm. And I doubt too many Kopites will be thrilled about it.

Anyone who followed Klopp is on a hiding to nothing...not that he won loads of important trophies like.

There are similarities

Also, don't forget the kopite contingent.

He's coming from a small club with fans that are relativity sane to 'Der Mighty Redmen'!

The poor lad has no clue what he's in store for.

If he doesn't hit the ground running, they'll turn on him faster than you can say: 'Gobshte'.

Whatever manager they get they'll turn into an utter throbber.

Fixed it for you-:

If he doesn't hit the ground running, they'll turn on him faster than you can say: '[S]Gobshte'. [/S] Roy Hodgson.

He may not have won lots of important trophies but please remember that he feels it's more important to collect relationships 😂😂

Their manager is largely irrelevant if FSG continue to preside over what is obviously a doping regime. It will be interesting to see if they’re cycling off next season as this squad is utter trash without the PEDs and struggled to even finish fifth last season (seemingly needed to start cycling on again just to give them a chance of making top 4 in the run in). I’d dread to think what Quansah Gomez Jones Elliot Gravenberch Nunez look like without the ability to run twice as quickly as all their opponents

It would be good though if he doesn’t possess Klopp’s pure sheer luck he seems to have. I’m pretty certain City and Arsenal are also on the juice given both teams unerring consistency but neither seem to possess Klopp’s sheer flukiness of last minute winners from aimless hopeful hoofs into the penalty area, or teams missing open nets and one on ones against them every single game.
