ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Don't wanna get too excited about this getting pumped just yet, not til they are out of the competition.

Still though, it's bewildering to me how they have been at the top so long this season. Whenever I watch them they look beatable. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a wed fart of a season's end for them.
If you're a Kopite you'd look in alarm more at the United 2-2 draw in the league than that European game last night. For 'all their chances' (they had 7 on target to United's 6) they looked like a rabble playing another rabble. They were no better than United. Playing as individuals and not as a team.

I still think the PL goes to the final week, but I expect this to be a duking it out between Arsenal and City in the end. Liverpool are buckling now and I can see games at Fulham and West Ham as being the ones the wheels finally come off. The manager looks like he's ready to be sectioned and the players looked shell shocked coming off the pitch against United and Atalanta.

Pep must be laughing his bollocks off.

I think the reason why Liverpool are riding high in the league is that there are a mixture of clubs (Everton, Spurs, Wolves, Bournemouth) and managers in the Prem (Moyes, Silva, Poch) who have a mental block playing against them.

Be nice for one time someone to step up and beat them.

Too many managers in the league now worship them. Edwards and Wilder went there looking like fans on a stadium tour hoping for a selfie with Jurgen, Eddie Howe is the same, Hodgson and Rodgers always wanted a pat on the head from their old club. Moyes has always had a weird reverence for them and United, and then you have all the sycophants like Wagner Hassnhuttl and Frank who see Klopp as some sort of idol. Half these teams are beaten in the tunnel with their manager touching the bloody this is Anfield sign.

Bring back the good old days, Mourinho or Ferguson in their prime would have had Klopp sectioned years ago. Even Allardyce or Pulis would have told him to do one. His biggest rivals since being here are two mute Spaniards.

I have to say, he’s an absolute state and a horrific man-baby kopite but fair play to him for marketing what an absolute loser he is to the tune of 250k subscribers and apparently live shows too now. He’s an absolute danger but what does that say for the people watching him watch games and even going to see him in person 🤣

Had a very long and tiring day today with little time to scrutinise the media. My question is simply have they turned against Shipman after last night?

Credit to him for making a decent living out of his ugly mug.

Silk purse out of a sow's ear springs to mind
