I'll tell you another driver for that type of event - besides the cult element to it: there is an industry of scally singers making a few quid off warbling God-awful self-penned 'terrace' songs to the gullible Kopites...the Jamie Webster's of this world...and then there's the sales they make off downloads of those songs...and the merchandise that goes with it.
Kopites are utter 'kin mugs. They're willingly getting ripped off by a bunch of chancers who'd slit their own grandmother's throats for a few quid, just so they can be part of the 'bonafide' Libpoolfc experience. They deserve all they get.
