I seem to remember Alex McLeish and Willie Miller playing for Scotland a lot when Hansen was around.

He was a great player and when he started on MoTD, a great pundit too. I thought he got tired and cliched towards the end of his time on there though.

Think there was a preference for Scottish based players at the time, hence Graeme Sharp only getting a handful of caps.
