It’s promising that Jones is coming out talking about how they’re not going abck to front as quickly and the midfielders will be getting involved in controlling possession. Klopp knew their midfielders were absolute donkeys and played accordingly, can’t wait for Endo Szloboslai and Jones to have the floor wiped with them by City Arsenal and Europe’s best. Their kick and rush to quality forwards is the only tactic that’s worked for them since Daglish’s first stint.

It's a culture shock coming up for them. They've been route one since Benitez 20 years ago. You can only play that way and win with top quality players 1 to 11, and they have just one or two.

Apparently now the only club in the top 5 leagues who are yet to (or about to) make a mens team signing this summer.

Sounds like Slot, Edwards et al are giving their current crop a very close look first..

He's already on call isn't he? He promised to be available, coiled like a spring on top of the liver building just waiting for the bat signal to swoop in and save the city (aka LFC according to most media).
