ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Isaak injured, who are they playing next…of course

It honestly doesn't matter who is injured, or who is out of form when they play the rs. Look at the frontline at their disposal

Diaz
Jota
Salah
Gakpo
Nunez

I've probably missed out one or 2 as well. They've got so many options that they should be top of the league. I told the missus last week that Klopps time should look like a failure as he always had the best forwards at his disposal and goals win games. They should have won the title last season with what he had at his disposal.

They might have a sticky patch, I'm not so sure myself. I think the title is there's to lose as they have far too much on offer up top and strength in depth all over the place.

I agree, Think they look better than anytime under Klopp, dont think they will win it at a canter but with Arsenal and City stuttering think the title is theirs.

They will have a bad patch but it would have to be horrendous to let the other two back in the race and i just dont see it.

Arsenal look the most likely to put up a fight I reckon. Massive game for City today.

Do you know what mate, i realised in midweek that I'm just not arsed if they win everything this season. Last season with the points deduction just took the absolute piss and I can't ever see a day where football becomes close to being a level playing field so why bother. I'd rather they didn't win anything obviously, but if they do it'll just be with a shrug of the shoulders. The Champions League format is an embarrassment, the PL is as corrupt as it can possibly get away with so why should we be worried. At some point the whole system will cave in and the top clubs will just find another way to make more money.

Im exactly the same mate, Liverpool the club dont even annoy me that much anymore, it used to be the players and managers but its the fans more than anything.

Like you and everyone else i dont want them to win anything of course not but when they do its a simple shrug of the shoulders, kind of like us at the moment whether we win or lose i just shrug my shoulders.

That guff they spout about "this means more". I don't think it's ever meant less. Football at the top level is just a business operation run by hedge funds and played by mercenaries. The game started dying in 1990 and has got worse ever since. I don't think it's irredeemable but it would need government intervention and that won't happen to a large enough extent.

TBF, this lot have been 'kin atrocious for 34 years as far as titles go.

I think we've led a charmed existence given the billions they've had ploughed into them over that period to have got away with them winning 1 title in all that time.
