ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Don't buy into this idea we should be rolling over for them. Get the crowd involved and let them know they're in a fight early on. If Southampton can, then so can we on a derby day.

Our players are terrible and our manager is even worse, but we should always demand and expect more from them. Don't let them off the hook by saying a home game against our biggest rivals is a defeat before a ball has been kicked.

facts are were terrible at derbys

the team we have are currently horse radish

don’t try and gloss over with anything

they’ll beat us easily
Disagree Matty, we have an appalling record away against Arsenal, United to a lesser extent City and RS. Last time we lost at home to RS we had Benitez in dugout. They have won 2 derbies at GP in 10 years, one in last minute and other with Kopite Rafael in dugout. So they have only won 1 more derby than us away from home in last 10 years. Granted our record at Anfield is crap but GP not do bad.

you know what if we weren’t in free fall mate and they weren’t as good

is say we have a chance of a draw

sadly i don’t think anything but the worst

No, just no. Let us not descend into petty 'I hope we injure their players' childish nonsense.

I hate derbies but I do agree that we do OK in Goodison derbies especially. When people say 'No win in...../one win in x amount of games' they really are taking the actual results out of context with the amount of draws there are recently. I think both sides would generally take a draw before the game.

My apathy with football at the top level, in general, means that am not getting worked up about next week or any other week, for that matter. Final whistle goes now, I get on with my life. It is just not worth it and never has been.

And right on cue comes the BBC News story about 'Tragedy Chanting' arrests at the Pit on Sunday. A grand total of nine, but don't let that get in the way of a nice victim enabling headline.

Such a pity how their news servers always seem to crash every time those mutants have a 'top bantz' get-together celebrating Munich, or demolish a coach. Darn shame... :coffee:
