ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

One thing is certain when the season eventually resumes.

A collective RS and media amnesia will ensue.

The MOTD cameras will pan onto the Kop.

A plethora of 'witty', 'compassionate' and 'profound' flags and banners will be waving away.

The commentator ,with the obligatory lump in the throat; will prattle on about 'this unique, caring, and amazing club'.

When has the TRUTH ever got in the way of BS.

Aha so it was actually a genius way to divert money from the government and on to the NHS;

"All this bull about tax payers money. The money that has been lining the Tory cronies pockets for 10 years whilst child poverty soars and food banks thrive. The club should take the business bail out like everyone else, however we are topping up to the 100pc and there will be those who earn over the £2500 limit as well. If the club then through charity initiatives direct that money directly to the chronically underfunded NHS they can. This seems to have been the plan."

As Father Ted said, that money was just resting in my account.

When you think about it, right now under nomal circumstance they could be champions, or at least.today they played Man City and possibly would be by tonight.
To think they should really be celebrating the title right now, but instead are having to defend themselves after again showing the world what scum they are. its brilliant.
Much rather there is no virus, but if one team has to really suffer for it, I'm glad its them, they deserve it.

It won't resume though.

Always a bit disturbing. Can remember being in town getting the train home and saw him outside the Crown pub. They were playing Arsenal that day and a load of their fans walked past him and just looked at him in utter disbelief. I smiled at one of them and he laughed, just said "definitely on that register".

I laughed but then realised that this was their first impression of the city after getting off the train.
