I think Liverpool no the league is over and because of the loss of revenue from that they have gone to the Government with this to make up for it.

I thought of that at the time.

Maybe something has been said behind closed doors that means they don't get a title and the season won't happen.

So they have decided sod it , and changed their decision to pay the staff as a childish almost reaction to not getting the title

It will all be forgotten and buried in a couple of weeks. If these so called journalists actually investigate FSG and Liverpool to the same extent they have gone after CIty, then this wouldn't come as a surprise and it's actually pretty mild considering the other stuff they get up too. Reprehensible club and fanbase, that hides behind faux morals and the lie that it somehow matters more. Genuinely hope they go out of business along with Spurs, Newcastle and Burnley.
