Well, I know they were called "rouge" but they were dressed almost invariably in black. The reference was actually more to their side of the political spectrum. You may have seen some wearing a kind of red scarf, but there were also other colours and these were more of denominations of their standings within the organisation.

I remember the Hicks and Gillette takeover. Beforehand they had been so excited about DIC coming in to take them over, then when H&G first came in it was all how glad they were that DIC fell through, then when it started going wrong for them under H&G they all complained that they should have been sold to DIC, and now that they’re happy with their Furlough overlords they all get sanctimonious about how they’re not taking oil money despite crying out for it for years (and taking money laundered Russian money instead)

I'm glad you cleared that up, the thought of having themselves associated with the rs would've made pol pot(sp) spin in his grave.

Yeah that's sadly true. I got into it with a Kopite weapon after the recent Bayern match report/review and all my comments were deleted by the Guardian mods. I didn't say anything offensive, and nothing I said was factually inaccurate.

It's hilarious that whenever Squires rips them as well the comments are full of Kopites bleating.
