ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This fella is about as well connected as you can be in football (in many ways unfortunately). Remember when he said Sam to us before anyone else. When Bein Sport had Ancelotti to Everton down, before he was even sacked at Napoli. He knows John Cross (who broke the story and is also well connected) very well.

Well anyway he has now acknowledged it was not Arsenal. Like many were suggested. It is Liverpool who are losing all that money. I don't wish to gloat, but I did try to tell people last week, it wouldn't be Arsenal.

If he is true, and it's a big an if, that is major major problems for them. I could only deduce their sponsor agreements have all sorts of loopholes, which likely will carry on in some form even if football returns. This is a blood bath that could make H & G look like a party.

How does he know that do you think? I mean, how come he knows now?

Crosses fingers and toes, Na don't do it to yourselves, if it were Liverpool and they were in huge financial troubles.
You know for a fact, the premier league would have already restarted, with all players playing in full Hazmat suits, masks with Canaries on each shoulder.

Theyve tried. It's only that there would be a riot if it happened that's prevented them thus far.

They are desperate to restart, seemingly at any human cost. It makes me more likely to think they are in trouble.

Nobody is going out on a limb for Arsenal or Tottenham. They're just allowed to go bust quietly.

Hope they don't get willian or werner. Decent players.

William reminds me of the sort of panic signing they made at the back end of H & G before they started massively reigning in the spending. It's the Joe Cole signing.

Hes a big name. They can delude that half witted fans that they're signing a Chelsea first steamer, not actually a lad who will struggle to be on the bench for them next season. Gerrard or someone can make some idiot statement that hes better than Messi like Joe Cole was. It's all for the theatre of their narcissistic, half witted, neurotic fan base.

It doesnt signal big spending. It signals budget options to try and con them into thinking they have money. They're thick, so aside from the few semi intelligent ones, it will work for a bit. They will lap it up. I suspect they'll use something like "better than Shaqiri" or something equally daft to justify it.

Hope those lads who are suppose to be buying Newcastle hurry up and do it, don't want them thinking hello Liverpool might be up for grabs here boys lets hold off. The thought of that lot under financial pressure and having to sell their best players will make life a little bit bearable in these troubled times.

The PR machine of THEM is rolling faster today.

Talks of signings, "Oh how nice is Klopp" stories and ex-players singing praises.

No word regarding their players/manager refusing paycuts like Ozil or the club freezing season tickets.

£9m a week is simply wonderful and long may it continue.

Not doubting him as he obviously has contacts, plus the furloughing of staff raised eyebrows too - maybe they are in trouble.

But I just dont see how. They made a fortune from CL last year, never even spent in last summer - I know they have the 2nd highest wage bill but even so they still should be fine. Owners taking money out?

Not City or Spurs as they are owned by billionaires. Man U's revenue is huge and Chelsea wouldnt struggle either. Your momey would be on Arsenal and Keys obviously thought that too, even Gray looked suprised.
