ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

First visit to this thread for ages as I try to rinse my mind clear of silly juvenile thoughts about their fanbase.
But..........I've just seen a couple of snippets of them mocking our fans for celebrating the win the other night against those giants of football, Lincoln City! After all it was only the League Cup.
This the last domestic trophy they've won if I'm not mistaken and one they give it big licks for some time after.
Nevertheless here we go again, hypocritical tossers the lot of them. Oh how I long for the squeals from the best fans in the world if they had to endure a fraction of what we've been through these past 25 years.

Certainly it was no draw against West Brom that would warrant a huge celebration from players and manager alike.

From a gang of bellends that cheered and filmed lashing old men in fountains and a fat naked rs cracking one off,I'll live with celebrating a goal

I think nonsense like this, is a slur and insult to both us and Sheffield Wednesday.

As well as continuing to make their disgusting Hillsborough slurs at Evertonians, they also make poisonous slurs towards Sheffield Wednesday fans. All Wednesday fans, felt and still feel upset about what happened in their stadium.Wednesday played the rs for 11 years after Hillsborough, and there was no issues between both sets of fans. But their scum fans on social media, seem to be now trying to make Hillsborough a source of aggro between both clubs.

Imagine if it had been us or ManU the victims at Hillsborough. The RS would have been laughing and jeering about it forever.

So close.
Salzburg and Genk, I'm hoping you boys can do it for us. What are Napoli like this season?

Should be smooth sailing out of this group for the rs alas. Just hope that they have to concentrate on it too much and drop off in the league. I don't think it should be too hard for City to progress at less than 100% intensity. Tottenham should be ok too, but think Chelsea might stumble if they're not careful.

We need to get up to speed quickly to capitalise on those teams and Wolves and Arsenal who might drop a few points here or there because of Europe. Shouldn't have thrown points away at Palace and Villa because of those sub-par performances. Bah!

They're going deep into this competition again unfortunately. It's what they do. Just got to swallow our medicine again.

"It's what they do."

That's it in a nut shell. That identity is engrained in them from the players to the fat boy knocking one off on a traffic light. They expect to do it, and also expect last gasp miracles to pull them out of the sh*** when they're almost out.

Grrrr.

I went to school in South London in the 70s/80s and when I was about 8 (1979) every kid in my year who said they liked football would say they supported Liverpool. Apart from me (Chelsea) and my mate Jason (Man Utd). That’s almost certainly when I started to despise them. Beating them has always felt better than beating any other team, including Utd and all London sides. The most entitled, self-aggrandising shower ever to disgrace football. I hate them.

Self-fulfilling prophecies mate, because it always happens to them. Every single person at the club wills it on and practically forces it to happen, and more often than not it does.

It could be that their involvement in the world club championship where if they do well would mean playing 8 games in 29 days could be their undoing.
This whilst the rest of the Prem are having the first winter break to recharge their batteries.
Stand by for cries of conspiracy from the slugs.

Exactly this. They don't have the squad to cope with that number of games in such a short timescale.
If they come out of that sequence of games with no injuries then questions really do need to be asked.
