ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They can definitely win the league. Grateful De Bruyne is back this season.

I'm worried that this may well be their time. They just don't seem to tire and never get crippling injuries. I mean, it's ridiculous. City not having Sane, Laporte and most probably Mendy is the equivalent of the RS not having Mane, Robertson and VVD. If those three were ever out long-term it'd be party-time for the rest of the country. They don't even get the niggly three-week muscle strains that everyone else seems to get. How can they not win it when so much goes their way?

Make no mistake, last year was a big choke from them because they had virtually no injuries, referees and opposition goalkeepers on their side. Not to mention a ten-point lead. They should be reminded of this at every opportunity.

Absolute beauty?

The Liver Bird is blue, I’d be furious if I was a Liverpool fan lol lol lol lol lol lol

Their commercial department are either mugs or know that their fanbase is so thick that no one will think that their badge (being the bird on top of Everton’s head office) being blue is a bit weird lol lol lol lol

Edit: I think the admin of the page might be taking the piss a bit, the badge might actually be black. Still, imagine buying a fourth kit your team are never going to play in.
Jesus, what next? They'll try to copyright the colour blue.

That\'s exactly what it represents mate.

Copyrighting the Liver bird crest then the name of the city; this grab for the colour blue is just their way of gradually obliterating any semblance of rivalry.

These are very corporate decisions based on expansionism. The people who run Liverpool know if they can have success on the pitch they can target the market right under their noses, never mind a global one...and that market is loyal and lasts generations.

Everton have been complicit in this too. Under Kenwright's time in charge they handed obver the city to Liverpool when they went full blast for stadiums outside Liverpool and more generally had a terrible relationship with the local state. And, of course, successive regimes at Everton for a quarter of a century have presided over utter failure on the pitch. Liverpool FC are just moving into what they see as the vacuum vacated by Everton ads a competitive and commercial force. It's not personal, it's business for them.

It is total retaliation to us lighting up the Liver Birds blue. The outrage from the cult was unreal, so now when they see it lit up they'll just say that's the colour of our badge.

Their 'blackout' shirt, surprisingly, has a black liver bird badge. The blue badge was an online wind-up as I think the initial post inferred. You've been played big style. Recently Liverpool have had some shades of blue on away kits, in fact I think their first ever kit was a Blackburn style blue and white affair. I think.I'll walk around the corner for a pint and a bit of Rangers v Celtic and avoid the subject of Leeds Utd before today's match.

As it says there though: Stones will be back after the international break and Laporte is looking not to be as bad as first feared. I have a feeling Fernandinho is one of those players who can slot in as a CB. Guardiola has a habit of converting DMs into CBs (Toure at Barca, Martinez at Bayern).

City will be fine and can in an emergency get a good CB in during January.

Hopefully mate. Teams need to start taking points off LFC. Won their last thirteen, the beauts
