ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

That's enough of me on this forum. Can't be having it. If I was one 'them', I'd go out in a blaze of glory, but I'm not, I'm a Blue. Seems you can't be critical (new posters anyway) of our Club. And must not, in any way, compare, negatively, our club with 'them' as I did with transfer spending. Ta Ra

Lol

Absolute beauty?

The Liver Bird is blue, I’d be furious if I was a Liverpool fan lol lol lol lol lol lol

Their commercial department are either mugs or know that their fanbase is so thick that no one will think that their badge (being the bird on top of Everton’s head office) being blue is a bit weird lol lol lol lol

Edit: I think the admin of the page might be taking the piss a bit, the badge might actually be black. Still, imagine buying a fourth kit your team are never going to play in.

Haven’t they had several blue away kits before? I vaguely remember this conversation coming up before.

IIRC their away kit / warming up stuff, today had a fair bit of blue on it because the lads in the pub were commenting on it.

Yeah a few years ago they had a full on blue and white kit if I remember correctly

Played 4 won 4.

Bit scary ain't it, don't care how many they win though, I've never seen one team get that bit of luck you need when it matters so often. That first goal was just ridiculous, little reminiscent of the blasted fluke they got against us last season. Still think they win games by mainly stopping other teams playing, I absolutely hate them, haha, but will admit they are the fittest team I've ever seen. And they hardly ever seem to get injuries and for the type of heavy metal football they play.....is unbelievable.

Liverpool and Chelsea face huge fines over betting deal

You just know they won’t though...

Scary yeah.... I reckon Klopp has discovered some ancient Burial ground under "FC Big Stand" during the recent building work, now he's got a whole Pet Sematary thing happening up on Snake mountain.

I mean look at James Milner these days, he couldn't hardly walk when he turned up at Voodoo FC ffs....

He's even got David Fairclough digging the "treatment areas..."

On the subject of the 'good old days' of the 'friendly rivalry' that some on here are waxing lyrical about, I have to state my case.

I hated that. I hated the media trumpeting about how the fans 'loved' each other, 'backed each other in finals', sat next to each other.

I never once sang 'Merseyside' at a game. I never once sang a gloating song about Manchester at a Derby.

They are, and always have been, our number one rivals. And that is before the actual logical reasons to despise them.

Sorry, but the day I want Liverpool to win a game is the day I've lost touch with what being an Evertonian is. Playing Man Utd? United all day long and twice on Sundays.

Remember that vomit-inducing team photo around the '85 cup final time, with the players from the two teams lining up standing alternately, and the two managers sat at the front? Anyone who considered putting that on their wall wanted a punch in the face, but only after every single person in the photo.

Bitter? That's me. I hate them, I always have. The day I saw a guy burning a Liverpool scarf in the Gwladys in the mid-80s was the day I knew the 'friendly rivalry' was dead, if it really ever existed. And I smiled because all was as it should be.

I'm just saying...

It's called PED's.

HATE how good their front three is.

Hope Mane folds Salah in training the greedy get.

You just know none of them will even miss a game this season either. City have Mendy, Sane and now potentially Laporte our with long term injuries whilst I’d put my mortgage on Van Dijk Mane Salah Firmino going yet another full season completely free of any kind of medium or long term injury.
