Full disclosure from the FA

http://bit.ly/sas9UZ

that's quite a lenghty document

highlight so far for me was....

5. The FA's case, in short, was as follows. In the goalmouth, Mr Evra and Mr Suarez spoke to
each other in Spanish. Mr Evra asked Mr Suarez why he had kicked him, referring to the
foul five minutes previously. Mr Suarez replied "Porque tu eres negro", meaning "Because
you are black". Mr Evra then said to Mr Suarez “say it to me again, I’m going to punch
youâ€￾. Mr Suarez replied "No hablo con los negros", meaning "I don't speak to blacks". Mr
Evra continued by saying that he now thought he was going to punch Mr Suarez. Mr
Suarez replied "Dale, negro, negro, negro", which meant "okay, blackie, blackie, blackie".
As Mr Suarez said this, he reached out to touch Mr Evra's arm, gesturing at his skin. Mr
Kuyt then intervened. When the referee blew his whistle and called the players over to
him shortly after the exchanges in the goalmouth, Mr Evra said to the referee "ref, ref, he
just called me a ****ing black".

Must get to RAWK, must get to RAWK...........

I've said it before and I'll say it again, i don't care what "context" it's used it, if person a is offended by it, it should be dealt with.

It similar to calling a woman "love, or babe" in a professional environment, yeah you may consider it "okay whenever your from" but if someone is offended by it, isn't that the deciding factor?

Sounds about right. And that lot are defending him.

Disgusting.

Its the context. "Love" is a north of England thing thats been around for probably 100 years. Its not meant to be condescending. Its purely how someone refers to a woman if you don't know their name.

That FA Report makes it obvious what Suarez was trying to do to provoke Evra to hit him. In a rather sly, disgusting manner too.

Snide doing snide things.

Wow, just wow.

Like I said, they've backed themselves into a corner here.

I can't wait to see kopite reaction to this.

Outrageous.

8 match ban is NOT enough. The Klansman should be out for the rest of the season.

"ITS JUST FERGIES WERD AGAINST LUISSSS LAD, SEWERZ AINT RACIST LAD, HES GOT ALL 2PACS ALBUMS AND SEEN ALL DENZILS FILMS LAD. HE EVEN SAWED A BLACK PERSON IN DA STREET ONCE AND SAID HELLO TO HIM LAD. IM GONNA MAKE A BANNER LAD, BEST TEAM IN DER WORLD LAD, ISTANABULLL LAD"

He pinched Evra's skin in order to demonstrate that he meant 'negro' to mean skin colour; it wasn't being used as just a friendly noun. (n)
