They need to backtrack immediately. By dropping any notion of an appeal for a start.
They won't, of course. But if they wanted to save face in any way on this they should.
By the by, Liverpool should be investigated here as has been mentioned. They have actually broken employment laws. Not only that, they have clearly - as in, very, very clearly - shown contempt to the FA. If they do appeal, I'd expect the ban to be lengthened after this document as the evidence is blatant.
