ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Of course we're getting criticised but other clubs have before for other offences. I'd be surprised if the club got charged with anything. It's a bit of a reputation knock but people will forget about it. It's just the story of the moment.

I think they should have at least waited until the report before condoning or supporting him because it avoids them getting egg on their face. I don't particularly agree with some of the fan reactions but I think that if he played for a lot of other clubs they'd go to the same extent to defend him so I don't think that's exclusive to Liverpool. Basically they haven't been as professional as they should have been and it's backfired.

So I see someone's tried to change the subject from LFC's terrible condoning of Suarez's racism into how much he's worth.

That's as bad as Kenny Dalglish's "hasn't he done this before" attempt.

The mask has slipped.

Very obvious isn't it?

As if anyone decent gives a flying fcuk about how much the nasty little [Poor language removed] is worth.

We'd definitely be making a profit on the £23m we paid for him and some of the recent transfers like Falcao and Coentrao in Europe have been silly money. He's a high profile player and a Ballon D'Or nominee so I'd definitely see £30m +. It's about spending that wisely too though. I personally would love Cavani or Lewandowski from Dortmund as a finisher but it's just like us at the moment to blow it.

Well he's definitely high profile. There are not too many diving, cheating, neck biting racists around........

There's no point in droning on over a crisis that's all but over. The only damage that can be done is reputational damage, and it's not as if you hold Liverpool in the highest esteem as it is.

Only a select number of clubs can afford 35m, and those clubs have reputations to protect.

The main (permanent) outcome here is that the media and the rest of football will no longer put up with LFC's tantrums.

He will end up in Spain

Dalglish's interview is on SSN now. Its like watching a tramp being asked by an A+E nurse what is wrong with him.
