ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

On the other hand, when I think of the condition of Suarez's karma, I smile.

Sooner or later, this is going to bite him, and hard. Hopefully on the pitch, in the derby.

There's a straight red in his future over this. If not, the league is headed for disaster.

He keeps being encouraged by events like todays, and he'll inevitably go too far. It's not like this was the first or only dive he took in this match. He's getting out of control. The integrity of the game is at stake.

I really hope we come to find that his financial adviser robbed him blind and store his entire fortune after he's retired.

Keeper is stupid, yes, but arguing that that gives Suarez the right to go down is a bit like arguing that a drunk woman walking down a dark alley deserve to be raped.

Edit... no pen. but it took a lot of looks, ref only gets one and gives benefit of the doubt to the attacking player as is correct according to the prem rules.
Rough as it was a dive, but I can only blame the player not the ref on that one.

Would he have given it if it was Benteke?

Would the same fat mess have given that penalty at the Ettihad if it was Lukaku?

Strange how in every controversial incident, it's never the 'big' club who suffer. That goes way beyond 'the ref only gets one look' excuse.

Skysports, the Fox News of sports. Rewriting facts to completely ignore Suarez's dive.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/287499/report

"Liverpool drew level seven minutes after the break with Suarez latching onto a fine pass from Gerrard to go clear on goal before being upended by Guzan.

Gerrard took responsibilty from the spot and scored to drag Liverpool back into the game."

"Moment of the match: Sturridge's goal on the stroke of half-time was the turning point in the game as Villa were on top up to that"

"Talking point: Have Liverpool got enough to finish in the top four? Will Villa be involved in a relegation battle"

Absolutely baffling. Liverpool FC's website couldn't have written it better.

we're bigger than city

Do refs not go back and watch these replays and understand they're all be conned 85% of the time? At what point don't they start just assuming he's diving? Unless I see a bone showing through the skin, I'm going to assume he dived.

that's what i don't get. they're all in the same proffessional so are essentially workmates.

if you had someone taking the piss, conning and making your workmates look like mugs, you wouldn't be too inclined to trust him would you? moss is a useless fat git though, he does cave into any sort of pressure from a decent sized home crowd.

Cheating tvvat

lets just say if someone does that to you in the street and your trying to run away from them, you don't fall over do you?

I've actually heard two kopites today praising Suarez for his diving technique, going on about how he manages it to make it so difficult for the referees as if it is something to be proud of. They were being serious as well. Unbelievable.

He probably thinks: "I'll have to get a bigger print of that, it looks fantastic so it does, right enough".

A complete and utter biff of a man.
I've had my kopite mates try their damnedest to put Brenda on par with Martinez when it comes to typifying the invention and talent of a top level new-age modern manager. Like [Poor language removed]. Rodgers as proven by that ghastly portrait is a footballing David Brent, who was chewed up and spit out of an Inane PR jargon dictionary who enjoys the benefits of an astronomical budget so far in excess of our own it dwarfs it and currently he's managed a magnificent 7th, one place behind us.
