I like a good WUM if they're entertaining. Adds to the charm of the forum. But there's been some in poor taste recently, and the discussion then descends into horrible moral point-scoring. This is probably why you and davek have overtuned your antennas, which isn't the best defence as it can cause blue infighting.


As the big brother in this relationship, we're better off just patronising them :P

RED seems like a sound poster, even DMorgan2 bar his ridiculous views on Collymore seems to just enjoy a bit of banter. Thing is as soon as something is said about LFC that the sheep don't follow they instantly revert to type and go all 'kopite'.

Also I might add, nobody has labelled the entirelty of LFC's fanbase as racist, we were having debate on the tweets and how Everton fans and Liverpool fans reacted differently to them.

I've said this a zillion times before, but the mainstream media having bloody ex-kopite players in their pundit ranks everywhere you look means that 50/50 decisions and cheating won't often be decided against the red team. Even subliminally, a ref will know if he favours the opposing team, he'll get it in the neck from the TV pundits, watched by millions.

I hope Mourinho's comments on it the other day will force an actual Rule which states something like "no more than xxx players from any given club may work in the media, so as to avoid favouritism".

Excellent point well made, though even for neutrals there's probably a residual stigma related to their fans documented history of violence and racism.

Just wish that if there were any pretending to be Blues on this fine forum, that they would feel bold enough to post as reds, like RED and Morgan etc, both of whom clearly feel that there's little to be embarrassed about in being a Liverpool fan no matter how unusual their opinions on football can often appear to "the uninitiated", more normal, football fan.

Some blues right here label the entirety of Liverpool's fanbase as racist (and worse). I've had it out with them on several occasions. The debate isnt the prettiest...

We had a poll recently about what percentage of us actually hate kopites, as opposed to merely not liking them or being annoyed by them. Around 65% voted for "hate".

Bare this in mind when attempting to inject reason into the debate, kidda :mellow:

The red****e are having a field day trying to justify all of Suarez dives with Baines one. That compilation video should silence them.

That was in bad taste, but I wasn't even born when Heysel happened, will that stop you calling me a murderer? Probably not. Cay on though. Most of my mates are blues but as soon as we talk footy we fall out, it's just how it is.
