hahahah lovely, hahahaha, do you know how much you have spent over the last 10 years, do you know how much you have spent on wages, lol lol lol.
Our side is not like Chelsea or Man City in terms of spending power and we are far from the top in terms of wages, so I don't know what you're talking about.

gerrard syaing his emotions were because of hillsborough?

i'm sorry this leaves a bad taste, i don't believe him. didn't he cry after the game? if that was the case, surely he'd be crying every year when they play on a hillsborough anniversary, i'm sorry but the fact he's such a big hypocrit makes me feel very uneasy.

Some of the invoking of Hillsborough coming from over there recently has made me feel a bit uneasy but I think GBH deserves a break here. His cousin died there, its 25 yrs on and he's within pissing distance of the title that's eluded him his whole career.

Yeah, he's a cowardly, hypocritical thug and I despise him, but I don't think this is really a stick you can use to beat him with.

I'd go with this, was a genuine hard man, I've never ever seen gerrard in a 50/50, all his elbows and two footed challenges come when he knows he can't get hurt himself
is right. I'll always remember a Roy Keane vs Gerrard duel from 2005. Keane went into it knowing that he would get hurt, Gerrard should have gone into it as he was favourite to get the ball. Gerrard bottled it.

This is a bit of a myth. In terms of transfer fees, City's 7-man bench cost 5M less than our entire 18-man team (142.6M vs 147.6M), and their wage bill is double ours.
What's a bit of a myth? That you haven't bought the title, or that you have spent? Because both of those are entirely true. You've spent more than any team except Man City and Chelsea (though Utd may have overtaken when signing Mata)... and you're by FAR the biggest spending team to have never (so far) won a title.

The myth is that we bought the title in the same way City or Chelsea did. Also, Man Utd have a much larger transfer budget and wage bill than we do. It's not even close.

I'll even do you one better. If you value Lukaku, Deulofeu and Barry at about 50M combined, then our squads are comparable in cost. Ours is a bit dearer, but the starting 11s are about the same.

He didn't say you'd bought the title in the way City or Chelsea did. Don't think anyone has ever said that you have... But actually, the spending between you and Utd over recent times is very close... you were ahead until either January or possibly last summer.

Which one of ours earns £200k p/w?

Then I'll have some of what you're smoking.

you're squad is worth about 70% more than ours (£176.5m vs £107m), even IF you price those 3 players at £50m, which tbf is a figure plucked out of thin air. If that's "a bit dearer" then fair enough.
