I think your RB would also improve any team. Coutinho would not be out place in any side in league.
He wouldn't get in Chelsea's team ahead of the two Brazilians who keep him out of the national squad.

Chelsea can still line up...
Schwarzer
Azpilecueta Ivanovic Luiz Cole
Lampard Matic Mikel
Schurrle Oscar
Ba
Plus Torres, Willian, Salah.
Still doable, but not ideal.
That team going to Anfield = hopeless
Is that Oscar who hasn't shown up since the autumn? Coutinho has been better than him since Christmas. When you consider value in the market, £8m is good business. He wouldn't get in Chelsea's team ahead of the two Brazilians who keep him out of the national squad.

My point about Coutinho isn't that he'd start every game for the top sides but that he wouldn't be out of place playing for any of them. Look at his games against City, Arsenal and Everton this season - he was very effective in those games either scoring or assisting goals.
He's a talent unlike a lot of players out there. He's certainly helped Liverpool start games quickly this season which is the key to the wins. Kill games before the oppo have time to do up their laces.

I take it all back. Having watched that I hope he's bounced out the place.
He'd get a game at any of those clubs. Firstly, these teams don't really have a "first XI" in the traditional sense. Secondly, it's against City and Arsenal where he's been at his best. He is a big game player. He's not the perfect footballer, far from it. He tends to dip out of games and his stamina is still in need of developing. However, I would actually say that he's not a ten-a-penny playmaker - not with those through balls and that dribbling.
It's easy to argue anything with a YouTube clip so I expect flack for doing so but this is really superb - 3m30sec
That's brilliant I've just watched the first 2 minutes and he's given the ball away to the opposition about 7/8 times and fouled about 3 players!
Priceless Pickles!
Apparently Rodgers said in his presser that... Suarez reflects the values of the club, humility and class.
lol
