Here is something, where would liverpool be if they had their winning run at the start of the season, would they have been found out afterwards and therefore dropped away? They had a great run at the best time you can possibly have one combined with stupid points dropped by their now rivals. Lucky but obviosley still put them top of the league by winning games.

Reminds me of blackpool. Poor championship team that went gung ho in the championship with nothing to lose and ended up promoted to the premier league as a result. Perhaps Rodgers is less shankley and more holloway?

Hahahahaha, they've only got themselves to blame. They couldn't have waited 4 weeks could they? They had to tell everyone and everyone that would listen that they were "gunna win der leeg", and ram it down everyone's throat. Classic example of counting all your chickens only for a vicious fox to come and eat them all (I know that's a terrible analogy). Look at them all with their flags and banners, it's hilarious.

I am surprised by those two words if im honest. You haven't been this close to a championship for a quarter of a century and you're in your penultimate game with less than 10 minutes to go, the opposition has just scored a consolation goal to make it 1-3......... You wouldn't make a change to see out the game and just settle for the 3 points, putting the pressure back onto Man City ??

That error by B-Rod (lol sorry) has provided City with a glorious chance and because of his lack of tactical awareness when it really does matter, see's City now only needing 4 points and NOT 6. In my opinion its not only a costly blooper but its yet more evidence this fella isn't all he is letting up to be. He doesn't have a secondary option. Exceeded your expectations but when you add everything up, the 15 less games, travelling around europe, the monumental one sided decisions etc.... its just glossing over the cracks in reality.

Lets see how this fella does when the scales are even next season.

My only worry with laughing at them, is that we're kind of doing the same thing, they are still capable of winning it :)

I actually want Villa to nick a draw tonight.

I want them to be dangled the carrot one last time this season, then for Yaya Toure to whip it away and lift the championship pot.

I want tears again and yet more gifs. I can't get enough of these hamburger pics.

I realise that you're trying to be clever. I'm just being honest. You don't have to believe me.

Regardless of what happens in the final match, I don't think you can call Rodgers anything other than an amazing success and a shoe in for manager of the year.
