ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They were 1/6 to win the league, now 25/1, its not over but that fact alone is enough to keep me grinning til Sunday, hopefully that grin widens come full time at the Etihad.

We're sooo near the perfect pisstake of the Kopites. They've imploded when they had it won and were celebrating it like they already had.

It'll flatten them for years to come if City can finish this off now.

It'll be a turning point, no mistake. They've never known what it's like to get every rub of the green you could imagine, and some you couldn't, to get them over the line.

Thats half the reason so many of us are so cautious about it all IMO.

Not saying anything until City are 3-0 up in the 93rd minute on Sunday. Even then I might wait until Kompany's got his hands on the trophy. That's what years of supporting Everton do to you. It's bad enough that our own team kicks us in the nuts so many times but I don't want a miraculous Liverpool win to do the same.

Agreed. I do think if this happens now it'll be a watershed moment. Their psyche has always been complete confidence that in a struggle they'll prevail. This could get into their heads and wreck them for years and years.

It's very high stakes in play here.

I'd say it might teach them a bit of humility, but I can't see it

Has anyone from another club actually said they'd of liked to of seen them win it?

NO?

Didn't think so.

I was worried there when it was 0-0 after 50 minutes but thankfully City eventually got motoring and the goal difference got another bump up.;) Im a bit conflicted here about Sunday.Do i watch City storm home to the title on Sky Sports 1 or do i watch all the devastated Kopites at Klanfield on Sky Sports 2?
