That is the equivalent of saying that every nation/corporation etc. that has been involved in some kind of atrocity or scandal shouldn't be allowed to celebrate its achievements and successes without being reminded of the atrocity or scandal that has happened. That's madness.

but your happy for a liverpool fan to have a dig at somebody who happens to work for somebody whom many regard as scum. Can't you see that you are arguing both for and against the same basic point.

I think the fella who tweeted him was out of order, but it was petulant, ****house behaviour to stoop to that level and come out with something like that.

Wow.

So the fact Murdoch's got a successful company and loads of money means he should never be called a bad man or reminded of the Hillsbrough/phone hacking business?

Besides, he's being paid to be professional: something that comment certainly wasn't. Anybody praising his actions ought to think again.

Again:

Murdoch WAS reponsible for the things you've mentioned so should be held accounted for them.

The fan who tweeted him and the vast, vast majority of Liverpool fans were not responsible for Heysel.

Besides, he's being paid to be professional: something that comment certainly wasn't. Anybody praising his actions ought to think again.

So what you are saying is that he should have claimed someone else did it, focused all his attention on something else and then wait twenty years before making some half-arsed apology?

and anybody who refuses to accept responsibility for muredering 39 people should also think again.

But in reality, we all know that when Everton fans call for Liverpool fans (a lot of whom weren't even around when Heysel happened) to apologise for the events at Heysel, they're not doing it from a sense of moral duty or consideration for the 39 dead, they're doing it to make Liverpool fans as uncomfortable as possible and are in a sense points scoring from the deaths of those people through taking such a moral high ground.
