I just watched the 20m highlights of the hull game and there was a period of play and in the background was a very clear rendition of the Gerrard song - current version.

He will be remembered - never forgotten and for one of the finest moments in EPL history :)

I would love it to be in the MOTD intro highlights for next year

That cracked me up as well. Think he meant 'a giant amongst men', and he's half right : Steve Gerrard is a giant ...a giant knob lol...

Until YouTube came along the Michael Thomas goal was always a story told by evertonian elders. I've since watched it many times and discovered how funny it was.

Now thanks to Steven I have my own memories. A cringworthy huddle. A wonderful slip, and the most depressed looking face you have ever seen on sky sports news after a win on the last day of the season.

That would be amazing, somebody should tweet Lineker and request this, he does enjoy popcorning the kopites.
 

When we are on the verge of winning our next league title and that will happen at some point in the future.If any of our supporters act like those Kopite simpletons over the past two months then i hope that they are given a large dosage of cop on and a few clips around the year.Good god they were making a huge fuss about being in a title race.Im sure a lot of Liverpool supporters are mortified with the way some of their fellow reds were acting like after that City game.When we beat Liverpool Man United Arsenal and Bayern Munich i don't see the need to make a fuss over such feats.This is Everton Football Club putting manners on the likes of Liverpool United and Bayern Munich is all part of the job description.
