ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Whilst I agree with you about the emboldened bit, the issue with Stevie G is that is what his career has been built on, those screamers that give the RS a win which their performance might not have been deserved. He was never going to not try and do that, especially as if one of them had gone in we would be drowned in Captain Fantastic style musings from the media and they would have won the league. In some ways he reminds me of Hannibal, in that he is great in his day but once someone works him out he ends up throwing pots of snakes at boats.
I cant remember too many of those screamers this season. His game has been playing others in. He cast that aside when the [Poor language removed] hit the fan in that game and he panicked rather than showed leadership with those pop gun efforts.

Gerrard has shot his bolt. I dont see this feller as a regular in the Liverpool team much longer. Next season will be his last as a starter.

The fact referees are still falling for it is disgraceful really.
Its the media slant that annoys me, its cheating, plain and simple, they have a gigle about it, referees are duped, the bells on telly have video replays so see the blatancy yet still chose to laugh it of as 'part of the game'...

If ever I needed a bigger incentive to enjoy them blowing the title, it's Sterling's face at 0:31. Look at him the scrawny little horrible chipmunk-faced beaut
thanks for that
