Re RS bias on TV. Does anyone remember the incident where Alan Smith was trampled on and broke his leg. There was a nasty little bit of afters where Jan Arne Greaser managed to stamp on his leg.. they showed it just the once (live) but not at all on MOTD.. it was nicely airbrushed out of the equation - a bit like a horse being put down on a racecourse.. "it never happened"

Whilst the Krap sang Greaser's name.

and Lawrenson is ignoring the facts: "it was the power of the shot"

Chelsea.

Didn't they shake the ambulance he was in as it left Anfield?

Pearl Drops is still droning on to the press at length about the past season.... when everyone else isn't. Saying "they had actually been concentrating on the Shamrock Rovers game ....we have recovered the soul of the club again for the supporters". What a ta-ta. People on the Mail Online Football comments from all over the place are cheesed off with them. I liked this analogy posted

rogers is like a child sitting on his own in an empty school talking to the caretaker about the last school year when everybody else has gone home for the summer holidays.

The RS never had a soul to recover - they sold it to the Devil........Even he's got fed up with them now and has given it to Jimmy Saville to play with...Blerts !!

This is how they get away with rewriting history

Got to have the last word.

Rewriting the slip. The 3-0 collapse. Suarez biting.

It never ends with them.

Always thought of Rodgers as much more like the child who returns to school after spending a week of his summer holidays in Cyprus where he stole a story from another boy about fingering a girl on the beach. It gets him a bit of popularity for a few days until someone forces him to demonstrate and he ends up elbow deep in his own urethra and there's a mess on the carpet no amount of sawdust will ever cover up.

I dashed off an email a while back bemoaning Tyler's 'commentary' of the EFC v MC game recently. I thought you might like to read the reply:

"Thank you for your email.

We are sorry that you were not happy with our coverage of Everton vs Manchester City on Saturday 3 May.

Our live coverage is designed to tell the story of a football match. A major storyline of the fixture was how an Everton win would boost Liverpool’s title winning chances and therefore the likely impact on the atmosphere at Goodison Park. This subject had also been debated across other parts of the media before the match.

Obviously it is our duty to inform our viewers of what is happening during the live coverage and only right that they discussed the atmosphere during the match, particularly considering our on-screen talent boast years of experience commentating and playing in big matches, including at Goodison Park. Again, this was consistent with other parts of the media where, for example, the words ‘flat’ ‘strange’ and ‘odd’ were used in match reports.

We are sorry that this affected your enjoyment of our coverage and we can ensure you that there is no bias either towards or against any particular club. We cover Everton extensively throughout the season on Sky Sports, including 11 live Premier League matches this season and of course on Sky Sports News and across our digital outlets.

Many thanks again

Sky Sports"

Here's my reply to this tosh:

"When Yaya Toure went down with an injury against Liverpool in the recent game at Anfield, Liverpool fans booed. Nothing was said. When they saw the injury was serious, they laughed and cheered. Nothing was said. When he went off, the Liverpool fans applauded, and Tyler started creaming his pants and dribbling all over his microphone about how 'sporting and knowledgeable' Liverpool fans are.

This isn't 'bias', this is downright distortion of the truth in order to appease their worldwide fanbase. It has been like this all season.

Of course, the media is infested with these LFC cult-member lunatics who are given free reign to ram their pro-racist, death-threat, violent propaganda down our throats.

No one outside of this cult are 'happy' with your coverage. LFC are worked into every conversation about football and almost every match.

Nice try, but not buying it."

being discussed in everton vs man city match thread mate. me and another had exactly the same reply, word for word.

I got exactly the same reply, word for word. Yet to respond, if I'm honest I don't expect anything said will be taken in by them. It was as much Sky TV as it was Tyler, they pre-chose their narrative and stuck to it.
