There were quite a few Blues with tears in their eyes on this day.
Very different to throwing away the league like, just thought I'd mention it though.

Apologies for the off-topic stuff.
watching his dad on the pitch breaking down, was one of the most heartbreaking things i've ever witnessed

Bit below the belt that wooly, you know what I meant

Aye, maybe it was.

I was thinking of the fans reaction rather than his dads. It's dead easy to sl^g off kopites for shedding a tear but plenty of Blues have done that when we've lost, or won. Nothing wrong with it, what your club does on and around the pitch pulls on your emotions. Everyone's different like, but there are far better stones to throw at kopites than the fact that some were gutted enough to show some emotion.

There is showing emotion, and there is crying over millionaires playing footy.

Two totally different things, I am cynical enough to know the difference and certainly intelligent enough to understand the impact of a loss. I can't ever envision a circumstance where it warrants tears, oh yeah I would be devastated like. Not sure blubbing into my mates shoulder is the answer though.

Just me I suppose.

I cried my eyes out when Lampard senior scored that late winner in the 1980 FAC SF. I was only 14 and I am not a bit ashamed!!

I cried when Bally went to Arsenal ( I was young though )
Blubbed a bit when we won the cup in 95
Did the same after we'd got through to the Cup Winners final in 85, held it together for the final itself though.
Was close again after the Semi against them a few years ago but blew my nose vigorously a few times instead and kicked a seat.

If we'd thrown away the league with a few games to go I can't guarantee I wouldn't have then either. Mind you, I'd be concious of the cameras and would hide behind some big bloke if I felt it coming on.

The missus won't take me to some films at the cinema in case I sniffle. Basically I'm an emotional wreck.
