ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I also can't wait for Suarez's diving/stamping antics against England. I'm anticipating some very quiet and very confused Kopites.[/QUOTE]

Its a unique match infested with RS. I was imagining their very own Coates crocking either Sturridge or Stirling (or now even Lambert)...then Henderson going over the top on Suarez the latter rolling 10ft... the ref red carding Henderson only for Gerrard to revert to type and two foot through on Gnasher moments later. Jagielka would be booked for laughing uncontrollably whilst Kopites malfunction throughout the land in the manner of the android Ash in "Alien" after he was decapitated.

........ and why are you assuming that these other signings are going to be of better quality. You've hardly sent a message in the transfer market since Brent has been at your club. Tell me why you're so confident of this. The price is what you expect from someone as young as Lambert no ? lol

Lets break down and comprehend what you're saying here: A team like Chelsea is tactically out-witting your manager again and you need a goal. You bring on Lambert to unlock that defence ?

What makes you think we won't be making higher caliber signings given that we are in the Champion's League this season? We need a bigger squad anyway to compete in Europe so I would suspect we will probably be looking at bringing in another 3-4 players at least.

Lambert may not be anywhere near as prolific as Suarez or Sturridge but he does offer something different to both those two. I think he really will act as a 'plan B' of sort for us and even though he may not strike fear into the opposition, I think he would be a dangerous option to bring on late in the game if we are needing a goal.

Anyway like I said before it's best to judge transfers at the end of a window. Because as it stands there is still a very long way to go before anyone can make conclusions about how successful a transfer window is likely to turn out.

Lads, he a definate RS this one.

I mean just look at his post count, and his first post is defending Liverpools transfer policy.

Blatant. Good job I spotted it though

How dare you make such false accusations! :)

You are assuming that Lambert is the only signing we are going to make this season. The transfer window has only just opened. I think it would be best to judge things come September.

For only 4 million Lambert offers a good backup option for a relatively cheap price. I can see him featuring regularly in the cup games and coming on as a sub when things are not going our way. Not an exciting signing by any means but then again I expect a few more signings to come yet.
latest william hill odds.
banned before the weekend...5 to 1.
someone finds his real address.10 to 1.
retires from the forum before the england game has finished and lambert scores a hattrick..evens.
hounded out before the week ends..odds on.

Ha Ha Ha

This has got to be a wind up surely. Plan B ? You don't have a plan B lad. You proved that time and time again last season. Its one of the reasons why you failed to win the league. Lambert is a targetman and your whole style of play is punt long as it is. Pretty much like for like essentially. So enlighten us and tell us what this plan B is ?

As for the high calibre signings because of Champions League footy; I know its been a while, but you have played in the competition before and i didn't see these high profile signings then either. If Lambert is the road your lot are driving on, i would be quite worried if i were a red.

Hiya mate. Welcome to GOT etc.
New members are encourgaged to answer a few basic questions such as:-

Where are you from ?
Who's your favourite Everton player ? ( Given the circumstances you can give us a Liverpool player )
How did you hear about GOT ?
What's your view on Pineapple on Pizza ?

Being a Scouser at Liverpool means much more than being English - it affords you more time to prove yourself

Another damage limitation soundbite on the Lambert transfer in a guest article in The National Anfield Bugle aka Daily Mail. Getting the excuse in before the fella actually takes time to be a success. Insane the way these RS fan site bloggers and indeed their supporters persistently knee jerk their way to justify their club even beyond credible reason. Thank God Im an Evertonian.

A feller in the barbers I go to knows that Chelsey Harwood and he said the whole thing about Brendan Rodgers was completely true. She has pics apparently.

LOL.
