Yeah, that's true. And he may well turn out a bargain. This feller didn't register with me, tbh. He's not a standout in that Leverkusen side. I dont think his performances have alerted other German clubs to jump in. Hopefully this will be another one of those £10Mish players who are pretty hopeless - Liverpool have become specialists at these type of signings in recent years. They must have wasted about £100M on garbage from that shelf over the past three seasons alone.

Buy a load of 'good' continental talent for between £10-£20 million only for them to be bottom half quality in the Premier League.

think you're being generous with the figure £100m tbh, carrol took up over a 3rd of that.
