.....wonder how that compares with other clubs over the same period. It wasn't as if dalglish was prudent before him.
I got into a massive arguement with my mate before they played Chelski. He was crying poverty saying Chelsea had spent 40 gazillion times more than the RS which would be proved on the day of the game. Richard Keys posted total cost of each first 11 played and I think the difference was 5 million or something. They really do believe they are paupers and they've done it the right way blah blah I can't wait for that ugly beaut Brenda's head to explode around December time and then Carra laaaa and Stevie G do a double duo player manager combo and get absolutely dry bummed by all.

They have never been the top spenders but for years they have always been in the top 3 of spenders while the top spenders have changed. They come out with some deluded rubbish but pleading poverty has to be the best yet.
