£76M - Liverpool would be daft not to take that for a player with dodgy knees.
'Striker might be enticed by playing with Ronaldo and bale'..lol might...what instead of Lucas and hendo!?
Ancelotti seems intent on buying the sewer rat. I think he'll go after the WC.
Still, England's strike force of Lambo and Studger will be formidable for Liverpool next season.
They'll spend £38m of the £70m transfer fee on someone like Connor Wickham

It's weird with Suarez... If they get around £80m for him then it's excellent business and a disaster at the same time. Thing is, even with him they won't have a prayer at the league again any time soon, so grabbing the £80m, getting the baggage he brings off the books and investing well may be good for them long term.
They'll always have a world class striker from somewhere anyway so it's hard to be happy about them cashing in on Suarez. Even if they splurged away that £80m on two Andy Carrolls, you can bet anything that a teenager from the academy will step up and bang in 30 goals out of the blue.
...he does score against top clubs.
Right there mate, one thing about the r/s they have always had a top slotter, and if we have any ambitions of being amongst the top teams on a regular basis it is a must for us.It's weird with Suarez... he scored that solitary free kick against us in the middle of a 3-3 draw that came because of a poor wall, good goal, but should have been avoided.
that was his only goal in 9 games against the other best 4 teams in the division (including FA Cup v arsenal), he's not worth anywhere near the sort of fees being touted. his stats the season before weren't too much better, a couple of scant consolations against the best teams, his biggest goal since he came to england is still that equaliser vs us that distin gifted to him in wembley, as far as i remember anyway. he's not a big game goalscorer which is what real would be expecting as a bare minimum for that fee. even benzema turns up in some of the big games.
I'm relaxed about them keeping hold of the sewer rat for another season. They have virtually no chance of repeating last years exploits for a variety of reasons and they'll fall short of landing a major trophy with or without him. It's weird with Suarez... This summer or next summer: I can be patient for his departure...especially when they're signing the likes of the two they have in already.
