ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Nah, they'll use this to hammer them over price, that's all. Madrid and Barcelona have the status and clout to get the best out of him and paper over his antics with the Spanish authorities. They knew what he was like before today - if they were interested then they still will be.

Too big of a stage, too big of a club. Sponsors won't have it, he's toxic.

"Luis Suárez bites his Italian opponent Giorgio Chiellini during the game in Brazil and there is only one source we can blame: clearly it is the fault of the English media. We made him do it. It was all our fault. If we had been nicer to him during his time in England - you know given him the Footballer of the Year Award, cheered him to the echo, constantly publicly reckoned him the finest footballer to play in this country for the past 10 years, that sort of thing - then he wouldn't have done it. He would have been too busy helping old ladies across the road to worry about snacking on a chunk of Italian shoulder."
If Suarez stays in England he will face that week in and week out. The poisonous environment our press etc can make for a player or manager is formidable. The refs will be all over that [Poor language removed] too. It's a nightmare for liverpool. I hope he stay but I can't see it...never in a million years, even more so after today.

Same for liverpool last season. He has a great season and all the press is favourable. That's all they're concerned with...and Madrid and barca are massive - their commercial tie ups wont stand or fall on the antics of Suarez.

Given the worldwide media coverage, I'd be very surprised if the RS owners or more importantly their sponsors will want anything to do with him. They'll drop him at the first opportunity at a vastly reduced price than they'd have got yesterday.

Can't wait to hear what Rodgers (or Dogshit) has to say about it all, I'm sure they're discussing with legal & media advisors right now

Between tainting Stevie G la for slipping and Suarez biting people

The derby will be magnificent this season

You do know it's Liverpool you're talking about right? If there's a club in world football suited to scum like Suarez it's them - they won't give a crap as long as he plays good togger on the pitch.

Sure I do, normally I agree but this crosses every line.
The club is owned by media conscious Yanks. With football booming in the States now and being promoted as a family sport, they won't want this publicity. It's a bigger shitstorm than last time, they'll have no option to get rid.

And who will buy him? The same issues apply to every club who'd be in for a player of that quality.

Barring some Russian club or perhaps PSG/Monaco, in theory nobody will touch him. In theory.

???

I think there's a difference between being high and mighty and being disgusted at a human biting another human three times?

It doesn't do anything to me emotionally, it doesn't stir me up. He needs help to cut out that behaviour. Just think it's an ultra competitive thing. He just can't control himself or else he is completely stupid.
I think a lot of peoples disgust is really just hatred channeled into 'digust', hatred cause he plays for the [Poor language removed]. One I can relate to.
Scrolling down the Facebook I see some real scumbags about my area claiming 'disgust' at it. And you would you would.think they were monks.

Can honestly say who he plays for is a side issue for me. It just happens to be Liverpool. You're over simplifying it - you wouldn't have #BanSuarez as a worldwide trend just off the back of a few disgruntled Evertonians.

You have a guy going out to physically harm his fellow professionals. On many levels that should disgust people, and it does, because there's a feeling that you're watching someone completely lacking in decency being rewarded for being a monster. And that's what he is, a monster; he's a guy who bites people, racially abuses people, deliberately tries to injure people... He's reprehensible.

Lads, the Brazilian TV screens are full of this - absolutely full of it. There's loads of football channels doing World Cup analysis 24/7 down here, and they're literally all just going with this "sensecao" (or however it's spelt!). Suffice to say, they're all seeming,y appalled by the rat's antics. I'd be gob-smacked if FIFA don't launch him for this, and rightly so.
