Just as a comparison I've found a thread here when Arteta poked Pederson in the eye. Not even close to the severity of a bite (let alone a third one) but largely everyone was in agreement that we were very lucky he got a yellow card so the FA couldn't do anything and that it deserved a ban.

Why is it we can hold our hands up and admit a player's done wrong and those lot across the park can't? I'm sure they really are a different species to the rest of us.

because we're not retarded unlike them

There right

A late challenge in the heat of a game with the ball there to be won is worse than biting someone on the sly when the ball is beards away in the hope you will get a reaction and get a man sent off

"feck this. I'm just getting more and more pissed that we're being
punished.
H&G was a long time ago but I'm getting a heavy urge to do a bit
of "internet terrorism".
Here's the FIFA contact page: http://www.fifa.com/contact/
form.html
I'm going to spam the feck out of them with emails of complaint.
If nothing else then to make myself feel better.
What's that email trick where you add like a "**" or ".1" or
something to that effect to make unique emails but they all link to
your normal email? Like we did for one of the JFT96 petitions
where by adding a different number every time to the end of your
email, you could vote many times?
Just so they can't block my email after the thousandth email."

Hahahahahahaha....proper wound up....

People claiming he should be binned because he brings the club into disrepute have a point. However I want him playing for us next season and for as long as we can keep him, but not just for footballing reasons. Our club is unique in so many ways, it is often referred to as a religion. It was the great Bill Shankly who referred to our supporters coming to worship at Anfield. To extend the analogy, redemption is part of any great religion and I want us to help Luis not get rid of him because he is an embarrassment. What Luis did last season was phenomenal. Yes it was his talent, but is was also our support for him in adversity and the amazing efforts of the management to turn him into a true professional. Hardly any transgressions and earning the respect of his peers and even the media made it a landmark season for him. Now when he is in the depths of despair and his whole career is under threat we need to show him that redemption is possible and only possible with us. We are a generally humane bunch of supporters and it's now that Luis needs help. When Jan Moby went to prison we welcomed him back because he was one of us and he deserved to be rehabilitated. Perhaps it's trite to mention our anthem, but Luis does not deserve to be cast adrift - to walk alone.

What on God's green earth...

Indeed, it's the faux sanctimony from opposition fans that is annoying given that most of them are basking in this crisis but painting it all with outrage.

Is my favourite so far. Exactly how ironic can irony be? How hypocritical can a lump of r/s actually get?

Faux sanctimony? Really? In all things r/s, and even moreso after this little pop tart of an event, there is nothing faux about my sanctimony regarding that shower of shoite and their deluded cultists.

They are a glorious car crash of a club with the morals of a pube stuck to a half swilled urinal block stuck in the sweaty trough of run down pub bog. You just can't take your eyes off them.

You can tell they're mostly foreigners, there sense of humour is cringeworthy

If they try to uphold it I can see Rodgers going all King Leonidas on them:

"We told you you're not allowed to coach Luis Brendan"

"Coach? I'm not coaching anyone, I'm just going for a stroll in the park. These 24 Liverpool players are my personal guards, and the footballs are there to keep them happy during the picnic"

All this faux indignation on RAWK!! You know what, if they don't like what he does and the consequences of his actions then tell him to do one - thanks for the memories and the £60M transfer fee (a massive profit on their books as well). That's my take on it - £60M gets you at least 2 or 3 very very good footballers, presumably all without any of this aggravation.
