What the fu.......

Uruguay manager suggesting that Suarez thought the deal was agreed by the RS and Barca in November, but was incensed when he spoke with someone from the club after the England game and the RS were looking to keep him due to his excellent season singlehandedly dragging them up from mediocrity. Apparently was not the same person afterwards hence the bite to engineer the move.

"November" (laughs at the RS cult braindead brainwashed).

So Neil Warnock was right all along when he said that the bite was deliberate. The RS's antics have cost they anything between £20 and £40 million. The RS agree a move to Barca in November and Suarez signs a new deal in December that will 'keep him at the club for 5 more years'. LFC don't half know how to play the RS fans. Don't you just love the gift that keeps on giving.

SteveO.agree with you on that one..but i thought most who came on were......although they thought they had the league in their hands...were also suggesting it would be great if the blues could join them in the c/l positions...
Never noticed any blatent gloatings myself like.

Maybe some were even genuine in that..or maybe im just being gullible.but you dont last long on this site if you dont agree with the common concencus even though its supposed to be welcome to all other supporters.
And baring being abusive or goading im sure the mods would like it that way also..being welcome i mean..And being able to converse intelligently on all football related matters..

Could be a few spats of course so maybe it wouldnt work anyway.

gotta run its 5 nil germany....wow

There isnt a "common concensus" mate. (Even amongst the mods at times!) And no-one gets banned for having their own point of view. Believe you me.

Act like an idiot, wind people up, ignore warnings, or try to spam the forum, then thats a different matter.

GOT is only as good as the posters, and 99% of them are sound.

Uruguay’s Oscar Tabarez reveals Barca agreed to sign Liverpool’s Luis Suarez in November 2013
Luis had told me about the Barcelona interest in November last year a few days before the Jordan match. At that time the talks between Liverpool and Barcelona were very good and an agreement was arranged back then.

After the amazing season he had Liverpool did not want to sell him understandably and they began to back out of the deal they made with Barcelona in November last year.

Luis got word of this a day after the victory against England. He was a changed man, he got upset and his head was elsewhere. He could barely train with the rest of the team. I had to have him train with a different group from the main squad.

For the record, Suarez signed a new new four-and-a-half-year deal with Liverpool in December in which Suarez, whose original deal was set to expire in 2016, agreed to earn around £160,000 until the end of last season and then £200,000 per week over the final four years of the contract.

The contract also set the reported 75 million euro buyout clause in Suarez’s contract.

In light on Tabarez’s latest comments, that renewed deal could now be understood to have been purposefully set up the mechanics and framework for this summer’s deal with Barcelona.

101 great goals, Monday 7th. July.

Said all along the bite was intentional. He has done it three times and got three transfers out of it or at least transfer requests.

I do think Liverpool genuinely wanted to keep him, as the wages offered suggested paying him champions league wages if they qualified, and the failure to do so sent him on his way anyway.

Just love the prospect of them passing up the likes of sanchez for players like markovic. Not saying he is a bad player (never heard of him tbh) but it seems they are massively overpaying for a 20 year old that will tkae 2 years to get used to the league.

this is fantastic

Uruguay manager blames Liverpool for Suarez' bite...
If (and it's a big if) this is true then why isn't Tabarez taking Goofy to task for scuppering Uruguay's World Cup chances?

He could have bitten someone in the RS's first game of the season and engineered the move such that he would have been available pretty much from the start of the La Liga season.

Rodgers is like a sailor on shore leave flashing his wallet. Im made up that Sanchez gave them the knockback from the start and yet they persisted that he was a target to appease the gullible cult members panting in anticipation at the skysports news screen banner.
