Yep. Even that dope manager of theirs will see that the defence needs gutting this summer, and he'll do it too. Upfront changes look like a nailed on downgrade. But if, as I suspect, he keeps that Gerrard/Henderson pairing they'll be snookered. Henderson offers nothing but huff and puff hard running, and Gerrard will be another year older and punting it to an inferior strike force that wont turn every long ball into gold. They need a Barkley type.

can i disagree? especially if they sell agger. skrtel is bang bang average, nowhere near CL quality, think he's pretty rubbish tbh. sakho looks woeful from what i've seen. forgotten who else they have. lovren is pretty decent, but has his faults, would say he's more europa quality. Toure stil there? was great in his prime, but finished now.

their full backs and defensive mid options are utterly terrible as well which shows up their centre backs even more.

they should have bigger fish to fry with CL on offer, but they don't have a manager who sees it that way.

Exactly. It's all looking very manageable. Not useless by any stretch, but not top drawer unplayable in the way you knew Suarez would be.

Can is supposed to be one who can step into that role. I must admit he was anonymous for me until he was mentioned in relation to the Liverpool move.

Fail to mention that both Owen and Torres were injured and declined because of it.

WTF are they thinking when they say that he needs to beware declining?

good point actually but I still recon they need to sort the other positions out first asap

Good potential on the kid but I don't see him being able to cover the massive Liability that stevie starfish and glen Johnson are defensively even our very own jimmy macc would struggle to fill that gaping void

Skrtel was only excused the full wrath of the cult last season due to his goals. At the other end i.e. his job, he was largely awful.

Agger is their best defender and he's off. Sakho is like Joey Yobo without the intelligence - he's a mistake waiting to happen. Lovren is a good CB, but he's not overly comfortable on the ball.

Toure just carries the Lucozade these days doesn't he?
 

That kid Origi "had offers from other clubs, will decide in two weeks", not exactly running to join them is he ? Wonder which clubs are after him ?
