ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

That kid Origi "had offers from other clubs, will decide in two weeks", not exactly running to join them is he ? Wonder which clubs are after him ?
Suarez wanted away from them; Sanchez doesn't want to know. They are defo going to find it difficult to get a top quality player in. What elite player will go there and devalue themselves when others are laughing and walking away from them?

Hadnt heard of him until about 15 minutes ago. Just looked it up. Know jack me, but not exactly prolific I thought.

Prolific just went to Barcelona. They'll have to unearth another one and then when/if they do they'll be taken from them by a Chelsea, City, Barcelona, Madrid. They are second division Europe-wise and until they become an elite force there again they'll continue to have to do that. Top players aren't arsed about 'great histories' or sob stories about near misses in a title race.

The amazing thing is that it took TWO members of the Anfield Cult to write this self-serving piffle.

Still, if they are writing garbage like this they are spending less of their journalistic expertise investigating which Everton players have children with disabilities.[/QUOTE]

Torres was on the wane when they sold him so he did them a favour by wanting to move.

Owen, though, stitched them up like a kipper, like Suarez has. Owen refused to sign an extension to his contract and LFC were forced to accept £8 million for a top class striker, when his true value was closer to £16 million. The figure Real sold him to Newcastle for a year later. Owen did very well, financially, out of the Real transfer, receiving a very good signing on fee, and then to Newcastle.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, there are reports that Origi decides to go for Spurs and that Sanchez goes to Aresenal. That will screw up Brendan's hit list.

Just hoping.

Didn't the last two top class players that left them for Spain do pretty well? Javier something and Xabi what's his name...?

Meanwhile over in the padded executive cells of RAWK, those Stretford Enders are mischief making in the Louis Van Gaal thread....

You're right. I would swap those 13 titles (that we won since you last won the league) for a second place every five years or so.

I've read that revanchist's posts and he's a bit of a bellend tbh. Probably why they let him stick around.
